Arly Smith-Pearson

Arly Smith-Pearson is an Attorney at Philadelphia Legal Assistance. Arly represents survivors of family violence in family law matters that include child custody, child and spousal support, protection from abuse, and divorce. She focuses on representing immigrants and limited English proficiency clients, and she is able to speak with Spanish-speaking clients in their language. She is also a Professor at Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, serving as the Supervising Attorney of the Civil Litigation Field Clinic. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon and Tulane University School of Law. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, serving in many capacities including as the Chair of the Public Interest Section, the Financial Secretary of the Young Lawyers Division, and a Member of the Board of Governors.
