Jackson Morawski is an attorney at Landye Bennett Blumstein LLP, an Anchorage, Alaska-based law firm. After graduating cum laude from the University of Oregon with a triple major in Asian Studies, Philosophy, and Japanese, Jackson moved to Washington, D.C. to work in the International Affairs department of a large national labor union. With the West Coast calling him back, he took a job in Business Affairs at a boutique production company in Beverly Hills, where he worked on multiple Emmy Award-winning television series. After his stint in the entertainment industry, Jackson enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he earned his J.D., graduating with pro bono honors and a certificate in business law. He fell in love with Alaska after moving to Anchorage for a judicial clerkship, where he currently lives and practices law, primarily litigating commercial disputes and advising corporate, tribal, and municipal clients across Alaska and Oregon.
