Professor Sherman is Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh, where he is also Associate Professor of International Relations and Political Science. He directs the University’s program on Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He previously held academic positions at Syracuse University, Leiden University, the University of Utah, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Korea University, and the American University of Phnom Penh. He received the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Political Science from the University of Washington. His research and teaching are in the areas of International Political Economy and Research Methodology. His language competencies are in English, Chinese, Dutch, French, Swedish, Spanish, R, and Python.
