Sophia was a UO Summit and Diversity Excellence Scholar and 2023 Summa Cum Laude graduate. She completed the Chinese Flagship Program and participated in their capstone year abroad in Taiwan. Since graduating, she has translated for Alliance for a Healthier Generation and volunteers with The Nanchang Project, co-leading the translation team and assisting the social media team. She is excited to return to Taiwan in Fall 2024 on a full tuition scholarship to complete National Chengchi University's International Master's Program in International Communication Studies (IMICS) to explore how different global media spheres may tackle specific topics based on locality, culture, language, and more.
