Trevor Higgins currently works as the Digital Marketing Manager for the Global Philanthropy Forum, a project of the World Affairs Council in San Francisco. After graduating, Trevor applied for an internship with GPF and was incredibly lucky to be brought on the team for the Global Philanthropy Forum of 2023 and then the APEC Multistakeholder Forum later that same year. After putting in his dues as a stipend-paid intern, he was eventually promoted and now has a more permanent role on the team. His philosophy is to take advantage of every opportunity presented to you, no matter how small. In the modern era, networking is one of the only ways to get ahead so make sure you are personable, professional, and memorable when interacting with those who may present you with opportunities.
