Tim Cooper (educator, coach). Tim is a University of Oregon alum with a BA in sociology and Italian. In the fall of 2007 he studied abroad in Macerata, Italy and after graduating, he taught English in Vercelli, Italy for 2 years. Upon returning to the United States, Tim moved to San Francisco where he taught at La Scuola International School, an IB-Italian immersion program, for 12 years taking on various teaching and athletic coaching roles at the preschool, elementary, and middle school level. In 2019 Tim received a Master’s in Education and teaching credential from the University of the Pacific. His philosophy is to learn by doing and to find continual opportunities to evolve and grow through new experiences. He believes each language opens up a doorway to ever more countries, cultures and peoples.
