Ellie is currently working as a Paralegal at McDowell Rackner & Gibson PC in Portland. As a student, she earned dual degrees in Political Science and Chinese, with minors in Physics and East Asian Studies. For departmental honors in Political Science, Ellie wrote about the role semiconductors play in cross-strait (China/Taiwan/US) relations. She presented her findings at the Asian Studies Event during the Undergraduate Research Symposium and took home first prize! Ellie also studied abroad in Taipei, Taiwan twice during her time at UO, achieving ACTFL Superior fluency in Mandarin.
